On the morning of May 18th, the "2025 Port High-Tech Forum and the 70th Anniversary Conference of the Port Machinery Professional Program" was held at the Yu District Auditorium of Wuhan University of Technology. Jointly organized by the School of Transportation and Logistics of Wuhan University of Technology and the Port Machinery Branch of the China Mechanical Engineering Society, the event attracted the participation of officials from the former director of the Water Transport Bureau of the Ministry of Transport, the president of the China Mechanical Engineering Society, Tuan Liangang, a senior expert and chief scientist of Shandong Port Group, Ba Qiufan, the former vice president of Shanghai International Port Group, as well as the university's Party Secretary Xin Sijin, Party Secretary and Deputy Secretary of the School Committee Zhao Jing, Vice President Zhang Di, members of the port machinery branch, representatives from transportation and port industry enterprises and some universities, 800 alumni from all over the country, relevant unit leaders of the university, and teachers and students of the School of Transportation and Logistics Engineering.

More than 500 outstanding alumni from this event gathered at the school. 12 port and port machinery enterprises signed cooperation agreements with the school, which will undoubtedly inject new impetus into the development of the Transportation Logistics College and the Port Machinery major.
